1) Shoe Boxes

As I mentioned in a recent 1911 Forum thread, I use and recommend the plastic, stackable 'shoe boxes' shown above.

Sturdy, but not air-tight, these boxes keep the dust out of/off the leather, yet still allow it to 'breathe'...

These things also come in larger sizes for those of us fortunate to have...ahem...'expanded' leather collections. :mrgreen:

I use plastic shoe storage hangars you can buy at Wal Mart. They hang over a door and have individual pockets that can hold one or two holsters easily and about four mag pouches. The whole hangar can store approx 40 holsters and either hangs on the back of a door or off a hangar inside your closet. Cost is approx $5 at most of the "big" stores.
