I picked up a stainless factory DAO 3" GP-100 about a year ago and have been looking for a good IWB holster for it since. I prefer holsters with the attachments fore & aft the actual area holding the gun. It wraps around my body much better and conceals much better. I have talked to several of the custom holster manufacturers I have done business with in years past but none had a 3" gun form. Revolver barrel lengths are usually even numbered and I did not want the barrel to stick out the bottom, or have an extra inch of unused leather either.....yeah I am kinda picky that way. I came across a fellow in one of the forums selling a Tucker Gunleather Texas Heritage IWB holster. It was like new and for a 3" L-Frame Smith & Wesson. It came in today and my Ruger slid right into the holster like it was made specifically for my gun. I am one happy camper as I am very familiar with Mr Tucker's fine holsters...and this one makes #7 for me. Here are a few pictures.

FWIW, Matt Del Fatti has a beautiful rig for your gun on his "In Stock Items" page. SP101 with 3 barrel. That Tuckers nice but personally I can't handle any rig without sewn loops, the clips just shift too much for me.

Tex...very nice revolver and a nice holster too. I have always liked the GPs and also like the 3" versions. I was issued a 4" GP-100 when I worked security at one of the US Military arsenals and found it was tough, utterly reliable, and would shoot almost anything we tried in it like a lsaerbeam! It definately made a huge fan out of me, and I would give almost anything to have one of these "US Property" marked GPs for my collection, by the way..the last time I worked at this installation was in 2002 and they were STILL issuing these with the flaming bomb and markings!
Mike, I also agree with you on the clips..everytime I have tried them I too found that they moved around too much (could it be that my love-me-handles were pushing out a little helping them to shift?? ). In the holster search category..try finding a holster for the Cylinder and Slide Pathfinder that I have now owned for 3 years. Most of the custom makers WILL do it, but the wait is too long and required me to send my baby off to some distant shores..lol. Uncle Lou was going to do one for me, but as we all know he never got the chance. I have decided that if/when I ever get the funds, John Ralston will be my choice. I cannot think of anyone who Lou would have approved more of, or who would do Lou justice in creating a work of art for me! I have been very impressed with what I have seen John do, and Lou and I talked in-depth about John and his work on several conversations, John..he was VERY proud of you! Best regeard--John
