I'm very curious as to what leather dies look like. Are the dies used in the "clicker" or by hand ? Do the dies just cut out the shape or do they also "press in" the stitch lines/grooves ? Is there any maintenence the dies need on a regular basis ?

Thanks,
fz

I could be wrong but it is my understanding that the dies go nto a press and they cut out the basic shape. The rest is done either by hand or with a sewing machine.

No pic, but they are just standard steel rule dies for a clicker. They just cut out the profile.
