I'm looking for a vertical shoulder rig for a 5" Goverment 1911, but with metal
hardware, no plastic.

Any ideas?

Although I haven't seen on in person since the late 70's or early 80's, Lawman still makes their vertical shoulder holster with no plastic fittings. http://lawmanleathergoods.com/index.html

Lonestar leather also makes one with metal hardware.

I have no experience with it. After you posted, I looked around and found them along with the lawman that was posted above.

Marc...I had a Bianchi X-15 vertical several years ago that worked very well (TOO well it seems. since my boss at the time ended up with it..or I would have given THAT one to you too!! ). If I remember correctly it had all metal stuff on it too, since I rarely buy anything tupperware or plastic. Good luck on your quest young man..LOL and hope you and you family all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Best regards--John
