I am looking for a high end holster like my SSII. Any suggestions? It is for a government model Colt. Thanks.

Exotics? How long are you willing to wait? Lots to chose from, but you will need to list a few specifics so people can point you in the right direction.

I know this guy... goes by the name of John Ralston... has a little shop in Washington where he a makes very nice holster that is similar to the Summer Special. Looks a bit like this...

And I know this other guy... runs a little shop called Del Fatti Leather on the other side of the country and he too makes a very nice rig similar to the Summer Special...

Del Fatti rig pictued between a Sparks S/S and 5 Shot IBS

Both men have made me phenomenal rigs base on the S/S holster body, each 'high end' in thier own special way that makes me proud just to be able to use and wear them.

Just a thought...

I was lucky enough to purchase a John Ralston holster from a friend. I've owned or own holsters from Del Fatti, Sparks, Nossar, Bulman,Alessi, Andrews,Horseshoe as well as others. John is in the top tier.

I have several by some of the big name makers out there, and I think Garrity's work, and Alex Nossar's, are the best going FWIW
