Does anybody know if there's any difference between the Heinie/Alessi DOJ and the current Alessi DOJ holsters?

Also, is the holster made for 1.25 or 1.5 inch wide belts?

The pure Alessi DOJ does not have the "speed cut" like the Heinie's variant. The speed cut is a lowered cut out of the front of the holster that is open down to below the ejection port.

Both were normally made for 1.5" belts.

Oops, my bad... I was comparing the Alessi DOJ open port to the Heinie/Alessi version. I have a feeling there's no design difference between the two.

I have a bunch original (made by Lou) examples of both the DOJ and the Heinie version. Looking at the pictures of the "new" Alessi versions, they look identical.

My pride and joy models are a pair of horsehide original DOJs Lou made for me. Also a full shark DOJ, DOJ/S models and Heinie DOJ/S versions.
