Just got home from a late day of work and poured a drink and went onto the computer and started to think of how lucky, i am to have a great collection of custom gun leather from some of the best. Likes of Del Fatti, Bulman, Alessi, Rybka and Rosen.Lou's stuff really came to mind since all i have was made by him before he left us all to soon. He made me all black with black shark trim on almost all of the stuff that i got from him. I havent heard much of the people who took over from his wife after Lou's passing or seen anything from them. Went onto the site but, its not really that great of a site and the pictures are blah. Has anybody gotten anything from them ?

I have two CQC-I's that Lou built.
I have one CQC-I That Tom built.
I ordered one CQC-I for my nephew,
that I think his name is Kevin built.

The best of the lot are the two that
Lou built. The one that I am the least
pleased with, is the one for my nephew.

On the one for my nephew, the sight
channel is molded. The others are
stiched. The attention to detail on the
molding is the best on the ones Lou
built. The color is the most consistent
on Lou's.

All are serviceable. The ones Lou built
were the least expensive.

I have an ankle holster from them about two years old and it's fine. Got an IWB for a pal and it was fine too. I have several from the Lou days, in fact most are mid to late 80's / maybe early 90's. I don't use them but ain't about to part with them, either.

I have a couple from Lou and 1 from the new Alessi. The 3 I have from Lou are an APX that he sent me for my birthday when he first started making them and an ankle holster for a S&W 642. I also have a CQC for a Sig 220 that I carried for about 5 years everyday. I ordered another APX from the new Alessi a couple of years ago. While the boning might not be quite Lou level the holster has proven very usable. Now if I could only convince them that a tuckable version of the APX would be great, Lou and I talked about it numerous times. I do miss my occasional phone conversations with Lou and like so many it seems he was taken way to soon.
