This forum seems to be a little quiet at times so I thought I would post a Christmas gift. Being an admitted Randall geek a Model 15 had been in my sights for some time. This one is pretty clean and made in about 2000. Everyone is asleep so I figured I'd post a couple of pictures.

Steve,
Killer knife my man 8) . I don't own a Randall but plan on it in the future.
Looks great next to the pistol. Speaking of Randall knives I started reading ''Black Hawk down'' and one of those knives saved a SEAL when a bullet punched thru a Hummer and hit him in the hip. He thought he took a round and it turned out that it hit his Randall, shattering the knife, but it saved his butt literally. :o

Nicely done. Santa must have been in line for a while on that one.

Actually Jeff, I got lucky. One of our forum members found out I was a Randall fan and contacted me with a very reasonable price. Couldn't resist.

AND THEN, I got to meet a great human being named Jeff Harris (Jeffro) this weekend. He has been collecting knives longer than I have been alive. While talking about Randalls I told him I had been trying to find a Model 24 to no avail. He simply said "you got one" I am not a typically sentimental guy but I was then. Let's just say I got the deal of a lifetime. Class guy. I'll certainly post pics of that one.

Steve

Steve,

That's a beautiful combo you've got there. Both the gun and knife tickle my fancy. I've never had the chance to own any really nice knives. Never had the use for them other than dressing a deer, and I always hated the thought of carrying a nice skinner into the woods and losing it or dinging it up. But, that Randall looks like it would be pretty easy to fins and tough enough to take anything I could give it.

Congratulations!

Very nice Steve. I'm determined to get a Model 14 one of these days soon, I've always wanted one. I do have a Model 8, which I bought back in '86, for the princely sum of $150. Should have picked up a 14 then too, as they were only a little bit more at that time. Hindsight, ain't it grand.

Good show, Steve! I am a knife junkie and have several sweet blades, but no Randall  If I get one, I'll have to get in line and wait the 4 years as I'm too tight to pay the price that they go for at the gun/knife shows (I can't stand price gouging!)

I understand that. So far the Randalls in my collection have been purchased at a very reasonable price. There are a few I'm still looking for but being patient pays off sometimes....I'm just not very good at it.
