I bought my first handmade from Kit about 13 years ago. He had a table full, and I think that I handled each one of them. He walked me through each one, and acted like he came down from Kentucky just to see me. I bought a large Model 4. He is an outstanding knife maker and a sterling gentleman to boot. He made a knife for my son from a drawing that my son did when he was 8 years old (he's 13 now). Steven gave it to him at the Blade Show and Kit built it. If I can figure out how to do it, I will post the link to his knife album (Steven's knife is shown there, along with lots of other cool pics). I can't say enough about him. I have 6 of his knives, and wouldn't take anything for them. They are impeccable.

Thanks much, Mr. Administrator-Guy!!! I am a pretty good shot, but find my computer skills sorely lacking. Besides, my 13-yr-old son wasn't readily available to type the technical stuff for me. He is my resident computer genius, not to mention knife designer and all-around good kid.

Kit Carson is a terrific man-a really exceptional human being with awesome knifemaking skills. I am proud to know him and call him a friend.

His new flippers are awesome!

I've had one of his m16 models for a couple of years. It's been a great little pocket knife and the flipper system is as ingenious as it is simple.

i have a small carson f4 necker (custom version, not crkt) that gets more carry & use than all my other customs combined. it's a great little knife :)

Huge fan of Kit's knives but even a big fan of Kit as a person. It just dont get any better. :D
