I am curious what everyone considers the go to magazine for a full-size 1911? I am considering going with a 9MM Commander for carry at some point and just doing research.

I used to think that the Springfield ones, with the crease in the front of the mag tube, were the only way to go. but I've been using some Wilson Combat 9mm mags of late, and they have spacers in the back, and have worked flawlessly. (which is what you'd expect form Bill.)

In the end, the gun will let you know what it likes.

I probably don't shoot as much 9 out of a 1911 as some people but I've also had good luck with the Wilsons but also the Tripps.

I appreciate the input, guess I need to order a couple of the Wilson’s and a couple Tripp’s.
