1911 board asking about a DA/SA pistol, I know, but I'm not trolling
I have an old W. German Sig P228 that I cant let go because of the way it comes to hand. As a carpenter I've come to really appreciate tools that are comfortable in hand.
I hate the first DA pull on it though, a long 12+ lb pull that isn't all together smooth.
I'm leaning toward sending it out to Grayguns for work because they specialize in Sig's
-Competition Short Reset Package
-P-Series Precision Intermediate Trigger
-Welded and fitted internal overtravel stop
-Single action pre-travel stop
Question for smiths and members: Would you have any opinions or suggestions for having any additional work done by Grayguns or possibly another smith on my P228
