on the burbon i met a guy on another forum whos family makes the stuff

he sent me a bottle as a gift

and im not a burbon drinker it was smooooooooth

I don't make bourbon but I drink it like Leatham shoots LOL.

Just kidding, but I sure do enjoy a nice bourbon. I am a Maker's Mark Ambassabor so there is a barrel with my name on it, but that's as close to "making bourbon" as I'll probably ever be.

I'm a small-time horologist (that's a watch nut, guys) myself.
Its seems to me that many fanciers of really nice guns are also watch-hounds too. I've attributed it to a fascination of fine machinery, but who knows.
It looks like the trend continues here.

Welcome to LTW, Sir. I hope you enjoy it here and spend all of your free computer time here browsing and discussing. I must say, though, I feel a bit out of place now. You see, I have quite a fancy for fine guns, but I don't even wear a watch, and I don't carry a cell phone at all times, either. Does that mean I'm weird, or is it unique?

This is a great group of people supporting a few great causes by promoting a great national pastime/hobby. I think you'll find it to be classy, well-managed, and very informative. Again, welcome.

Jim, don't feel out of place. I hate my cell phone and broke my watch scrambling out of an Abrams tank some time ago. Haven't worn one since.

Ya know...I'm sitting here with my two boys who are for once not trying to invent new uses for golf clubs and killl each other and feeling a bit maudlin and thinkin'.....

I live in an area where so many people refuse to have kids because they complain that the world is such a horrible palce that they would never want to subject another generation to the problems we face....

And then I look at the folks on this board, who give their time, their money, their talents for good selfless causes all without fanfare or self promotion....

This board represents the America that was promised to me by my parents...it is a sterling example of folks doing good for folks...
