Greetings and hello,
In introduction, I am an amateur with a passion for the 1911 and have been priveleged with the rare opportunity to study under a master smith here in Texas named Ken Crawley, of Crawley Custom. I have spent an enormous amount of time on M1911.org where such fine gentlemen as Johnny (1911Tuner), Stephen Camp, and a few others have been invaluable resources as I muddled my way through my first 1911 pistol build and I look forward to posting it here for some critical feedback. I am hoping that I can become an involved member of the forums here and am humbled by many of the master smiths present here on LTW. I only hope to absorb more knowledge and grow and advance in this craft and appreciate the opportunity to rub shoulders with elite as I pursue the standards of excellence in my own crafting displayed by many of you.
