I just want you folks to know that I just completed a multiple firearm transaction (actually several transactions) with Gary at R&G. It started out as a single firearm purchase which was precipitated here on LTW "For Sale Forum". After the first transaction, I knew I could trust him implicitly. Let me preface this by stating that I am a stickler for detail in transactions.......... not unfair or drive a hard bargain, just a pain in the a#% to be sure all sides are acting in concert and that the verbage is crystal clear to all involved.
Gary is a super gentleman with whom to deal. His decription(s) of his wares are quite accurate, maybe even describing his wares a bit worse than they actually are, as I was quite pleasantly surprised each time I received a shipment from him. I probably drove him crazy, but he was always a gentleman, courteous, and did exactly what he promised and within the timeframe he promises.
I have had dealings with several folks here on LTW, and ALL, without exception have been fair, honest, and gentlemanly. I guess this site just attracts that kind of folks.......... and I am honored to count all of them as friends.

I could not agree more! I am lucky enough to live in the metro area, and he is just super to deal with, and a great person to boot! His knowledge is very extensive- and his follow through on anything he commits to is really amazing.
I have to just not forget to check his website often as he gets so many great and various platforms coming through R&G hands (his partner is a great guy also).
He has a nice little section on his website used as a repository of information on the "classic" custom gunsmiths of the years.
Plus, he is always willing the chat-
I am really glad to see him get credit here- he earns it every transaction!

Man..you two guys could be reading a page outta my own book of thoughts as far as Gary is concerned. I also started out talking to Gary about one pistol..and it turned into two incredible guns. A little more about the transactions should be offered here. Since being forced to medically retire from law enforcement a year and a half ago, my income went overnight from $50k a year..to nothing for almost a year while the government took their sweet time processing my retirement and disability, to finally a whopping $12k a year now. I never thought I would EVER be able to own any of the beautiful and functional weaponry seen on these pages, and two of my dream guns were a Delta Elite and a custom Hi-Power. Well Gary happened to have a brand new Cylinder and Slide Pathfinder for sale (his personal one) and I thought, "Well I can always ask if he'd accept some sort of payment plan", knowing good and well what the answer to that proposal would be...was I ever wrong!! Gary was very understanding and with the help of a hefty retroactive paycheck from "Uncle Sugar" to make up for a year with no income, I was able to finally purchase the Pathfinder AND a nice SDM Custom Delta Elite that Gary had just gotten in. I had a ton of correspondance and phone calls with Gary..several times while he was travelling with work, and he was aways top notch and extremely fast to deal with! Thanks again Gary for making an old flatfoots dream come true!!
I also have done transactions with several other members on this forum, and can mirror you opinions that there is no finer bunch of gentlemen anywhere in cyberspace!!--John
