Gentlemen,
This link was sent to me by a friend, and while I am sure there is nothing new to any of you in terms of information, it seems like it would be a great "tool" to assist in explaining systems, items, or repairs to those who only know how to "pull the trigger and make a 1911 go bang". When you go to the link, then the various boxes on the lower left side of the screen will show the internal workings of individual systems within the 1911 IN OPERATION.
I think it is way cool, but then I am not very smart and little things can fascinate me for hours on end.......... a piece of string, a pencil, a piece of old bubble gum.............. etc.
Below is the link........... enjoy.

Best, Jeffro

STI now has it available to download from their web site. They also have it in a screensaver. I am using it on my home and work computer.

How do you download it to your computer so that you can actually play around with it? I downloaded the screen saver but it makes changes automatically. I would like to have it on my hard drive so I can manipulate what you see. If anyone can give me the downloading for dummies version I would appreciate it. :D
