I can't even explain the type of individuals we have attracted here at this site. A couple of weeks ago I finished a Commander at about the time I heard of one of our Deputies needing help with a very ill eight month old boy. So I figured the proceeds of the gun would provide a little relief for the family.

The work I did on that gun does not compare to the generous people who sent me donations for the Rattner family. You guys say alot about the industry. Thank you doesn't quite cover it for me. The final bid on the gun was $2151.00.

And then the following people have to prove what good people they are by donating and additional $1000.00 in personal donations. Unbeleivable. I hope to personally thank each and every one of you.

The following people need to be acknowledged.

M. Sewell 8)
K. Dolan *Winner*
B. Thompson
J. Harris
J. Berger
R. Thompson
B. Gonsalves
C. Brezee
C. Winckless
Deputy Eric (Depmur)

Mark Garrity/Garrity Gunleather-holster
Keith Crowder-Emerson HD-7 (Great knife)
Jeff Van Neil-Two sets custom stocks, very nice.

Over $3200.00 in 24 hours.

I will put a card together from all of us explaining how things went. When Ted conceptualized LTW, I think this is along the line of what he was thinking.

Have I said Thank You?

Not as clearly stated above...One HUGE thanks to a fellow LEO Wkdk2. Talk about stepping up and hopefully getting a good duty gun. Thanks again to everyone. Kendall, your package should be there next week and I think you are gonna be thrilled. The guys really stepped up with the stuff you are going to get. The holster Mark Garrity did is very kewl. The HD-7 is a great duty knife. And you are set for stocks from JeffVN.

No problem on the stocks, it was the least I could do.

Have they arrived yet? I shipped them out the next day by priority mail. I know the pictures were not the greatest, but teh grips are pretty sweet.

Worthy cause. I just wish the tax man was a little kinder this year, I could've gotten serious about bidding on a YoBo 1911.
