I just wanted to share my recent experience with Joe, Ted Yost, and Lew Bonitz. As you may have seen, Joe (theophorus) had an EB Kobra for sale on this board. I contacted him and purchased the pistol from him. Everything went perfectly. I had never bought something for this much money sight unseen. The pistol was exactly as he described it, and shoots even better. Before it was sent to me, I worked with Lew and Ted to get an ambi installed. The quality of the workmanship even on this relatively minor item, and the other work they performed for Joe previously was top notch.

Even better, I think Joe is now buying a YBC gun that he likes better from Ted, Lew and the guys, so we are both going to have our dream guns out of this deal. talk about a win win! I couldnt be happier, and am glad to be a part of this community.

Joe, Ted, and Lew, you guys are all the best! Will be doing business with y'all again soon, (especially YBC!) :D

My Papa used to have a saying that I find myself thinking about when interacting with any assortment of people and their employees (or co-workers). It dovetails perfectly with your note, SigArms226.

"First class people hire first class people;
Second class people hire third class people."

Ted Yost and his crew are top-drawer all the way. (..... but PLEASE don't tell any of them (or Ted) that I said that! :wink:

Best regards,
Jeffro

I am certainly not Theo or Lew but do stop in there on occasion. Glad to hear you are happy. We try as hard as we can to make all of you get exactly what you wanted. Sounds like everyone is happy on this one.

Jeff,
Well put. We do have a very good crew at the YoBo Exotic Potions and Pistol Emporium.

Hey Siggy-- The gun world is not without its undesireables, but the vast majority of my experiences mirror yours. I think as a group, gun folk tend to be much more upstanding than society as a whole. Glad you had a good transaction, sounds like you're both getting good hardware.

How come you fellas--YOU Steve, Ted, and Lew--have never offered me any potion when I've been down there? I feel slighted.

Theo.
It is only on your second trip down. It is a mixture of 15 year old scotch and bluing salts. Like a shot of Tequila in the morning but rest assured you won't forget your second trip to Yobo and will never remember the first! :P

Sorry I missed you. My day job prohibits me from some of the more pleasant things.

I'll have to wear my more brilliant tiara next time I'm down. I've been there like 10 times! I suppose it is cause you have you nose in a gun whenever I see you. Anyway, I wouldn't mind a complimentary shot of said elixir. Oh, and I thought you guys had to drink to put up with Arpaio ;-D.

:twisted:
