I talked to Virgil yesterday about getting a .40 1911 built. Virgil said he'd be happy to do it but I'd have to get the gun ordered ASAP. Virgil says he's so busy with plating that he'll only be taking custom work for another month or six weeks.

I'd love to get another gun built but won't have the funds in time to get it done. I guess I'll have to send in my Trojan and have him tune it up a little instead. It won't be a true custom but it'll have to do for the time being.

Anyway, just an FYI for those who have been thinking about using Virgil for a build. I'm glad his plating business is doing so well.

There will be a one less craftsmen in the custom pieces for a while but an increase in the coating and plating available.

A shop with with quality of coating and plating available is hard to find.

Keep up the great work Virgil and thanks again for the superb two tone job on the Browning.
