There is a sticky on the for sale board that answers your question. You need at least 6 posts on the other boards before you have access to post in the for sale board. It gives the other members a chance to get to know you while discouraging those who have no desire to be a member of the community and only want to use the for sale forum.

Take a couple of days, make a contribution and then place your ad.
