Hey all.
Just wanted to let the board know we are a member here now and hope to be able to add to, share and learn from those who post here.

Not sure how often I will be active as we are very busy but hope to as much as is possible. Thanks.

Welcome aboard, Chris! Good to see another leader in the industry represented on this forum :D . (But beware....you will probably become addicted to the fine works of art on here, and end up spending much of your profits here as well!).

I know what you mean about getting addicted to nice work.

There is some seriously talented smiths on here. Thats one reason I wanted to become a part of this board. I am a real sucker for fine pistolsmith work. I know that kind of work commands a premium price and many places have gone to 'production' work. There is a place for production pieces but in my book...there is nothing like a super fine hand crafted 1911.

Chris, there was a Guncrafter Industries Model 2 in the LTW display case that was kind of a joint work between GI and me. They'd had you plate it and man was I impressed with it the quality of your work. We'll be talkin'......

Chris, was Metaloy once in Ft. Worth, Texas? I have a S$W Model 29 that was, I believe, "Metaloyed" many years ago there. I have had the gun for 25 years, not a spot on it. what a great finish. Ed

I have been asked that question before. The answer is no. Originally, back before 1980, we were based in Tulsa, OK. In about 1983, we moved to Berryville and have been here ever since.

Thanks for the report on your revolver still holding up. We have other reports of guns plated here in the 80's that still look like the day they left our shop.
