Before this gun is raffled or auctioned or how ever you plan on doing it. I would be sure to check the Arizona Non profit 501-C3 requirements and maybe even some of the other states and see which state has the least paperwork and easiest regulations to follow.

Also I have heard that several charter members would like a crack at purchasing these weapons and I am not at all sure that would be allowed. I have understood in most things like tis members of the organization and immediate families are exempt from participating.

I am be all wrong but I am sure there is a legal beagle amongst us that could look into it.

Gary,
The organization that is considering raffling this for us is looking into all of these issues right now. It has been decided to a certain degree that nobody directly connected to LTW would enter the raffle. However, I don't know and don't think that would apply to moderators on the forum. But I think the smiths would agree that the so called founding fathers including Mark and I would not enter the raffle. Thanks for the heads up.

Guys,

I can't do much as far as building weapons but, I can play Devils Advocate and that is all I am doing. Heck I wish all the Smiths that build these weapon's could have one. I mean who deserves first bid more. I 'm just putting out info based on some experiences I have had in the past with a Softball tournament and raffle for Hepatitis C foundation.

I did make a comment about entering the raffle at one point but was saying it just as a compliment to the work on LTW#1. I think it would be bad form if we would enter the raffles ourselves, or anyway it would be seen as such by many.
