I came across this site while searching for more photos of a 1911 I say a partial picture of. I have to say I am truly amazed at the level of craftsmanship displayed in the photos on this site.
My hats off to all of you, wonderful cause and wonderful display of quality workmanship.

I met Lou a few times in his shop, it was about twelve miles from where I lived in Orchard Park, he was a true craftsman and a fine person to know and deal with, I will always cherish the memories of my visits there.

If anyone can direct me to some more pictures of this gun I would appreciate it, I have done a lot of searching and couldn't find any.

Thanks for the welcome and the information.
I love the clean lines and uncluttered look of that gun but I like all the guns I've seen on here.

Well John, I may be a little biased but I like to think of our little place here as the end of the 1911 internet. Good guns and good folks here..... and we still like hearing a knock on the door.... welcome.
