Rumor has it that US Fire Arms debuted a classic 1911 they are going to produce at the SHOT show.

If it's to the same quality as their SAA's and has that nice carbona blueing, I'm thinking it's time to fill up another piggy bank.

Anyone one of our SHOT attendees able to clear up this rumor?

They had a couple on the table, looked nice. I didnt talk to anyone about it, but they were certanly there. I'm sure a few more people here will reply and someone probably got the rundown. Hope this helps a little.

They apparently had a Model 1910 and another "military" model that prolly is akin to the Pre War model or the WWI re-issue from Colt. The info I read about them say that they are really BEEE-U-TI-FUL.
When I heard about them I called USFA and asked the gal but she was clueless. She said to call back on Wednesday or Thursday. There isn't any info on their web site about them.
I did copy the pic that was posted of the Model 1910 in its box and it looks great. The box and paperwork that comes with it looks cool too. Since I don't have any online space yet, I can't post the pic. If anyone wants to see it or post it for me, PM or email me and I'll sens it to you so you can post it for everyone to see.
You can bet that if USFA is putting it out, it'll be nice. I can't wait to see really good pictures of it and read about the specs.

I read on someone else's SHOT show review that the prices were MSRP in the $1500 range and that they seemed to be a mix of 1911 and 1911A1 spec.

Hoping to get better information soon. The price is unfortunate if true. I was hoping we'd see something like their Rodeo. Built to real mil spec, basic parkerized finish, high quality fit, price at a reasonable level.
