Anyone use or seen these on a gun? They're the ones cut for either a Novak or a Bomar.

I have the Rollo version on a Caspian gun I built. They are just like Bomars. Nothing really special. Not sure if the Bomar replacement blades will work though. I havent had any trouble with mine.

Thanks Bill. In the photos, the Rollo looks a bit smaller, but that could be just the photo.

I'm wondering how that solid and strong the tactical Capian cut one is. It looks like it would be a bit more adjustable than the original Novak combat adjustable.

I have one of the Caspian tactical adjustable sights mounted on my SA MC Operator pistol. I really like it.

Brand new the MC Operator did not shoot anywhere near point of aim at 10 yards - the range at which I prefer my pistols to hit point of aim. The Caspian sight was installed by my gunsmith with no surgery, milling etc and I kept the stock SA front sight.

Also, as compared to the BoMar and BoMar clone rear sights, the Caspian adjustable has a much smaller, rounder profile - which is important if you contemplate using a Safariland holster with a "hood" retention device. No way to get hung up on a hood during the draw from the holster.

Best regards, just my .02, no commercial relationship with Caspian, not a gunsmith,

Tim

I have a Caspian Tactical rear sight for the Novak cut (Brand New) if you are interested.

I bought it to replace the Adjustable Novaks that were on a pistol that I bought on Gunbroker.

After the pistol came I found out that the Novak Adjustable cut was different than standard and I never put the sight on (didn't think I would like the look of the extra air up front).

I have a ghost ring on my STI 2011 with a FO front and it does wonders drawing the eye to the front sight.

Hello, 5Shot--nice to see  you on the forum.
