Offer frame with 30 LPI front strap checkering- Question:

Would like to have an S&A mag well installed but would like it to match the front strap checkering (yes on same gun as chamfered slide stop hole- previous post).
1. Could the 20 LPI be converted to 30 LPI.
2. Mag guide available in both steel and aluminum. Would it be a problem to do this with the aluminum or should the steal be used? Reanodizing will be done with the frame if aluminum is used.

Please fellas, your thoughts.

Sure, just need to take the old off first, and rechecker it. Steel or aluminum would work. O'course the final product is a but lower but not such that you'd really notice.

S&A makes a plain MSH mag well, that would be better then shavinga 20 lpi one....
