Greetings from Arkansas! Just joined this forum (great place) and thought I'd introduce myself to the membership with some pics of the last pistol I've finished.
It's an Operator that's ready to return home. This saga started as a Reliability Package/Trigger Job and, as you'll see, took on a life of its own.

Trigger components were replaced with C&S parts, pull set at 4.0 lbs. A new rear sight was fit to correct the point of aim/impact that seems to plague many Springers. Rear sight is plain, the front has a Tritium insert. I fit an EGW bushing and recrowned the barrel. This pistol is
very accurate now with the factory barrel. The S&A magwell was recontoured at the heel and blended to the frame opening. The front strap is high cut and was serrated by Chuck Rogers. I installed a Brown extended mag release after modifying it to prevent overtravel and trapping magazines. A Brown beavertail and thumb safety were fit and blended. A bent plunger tube was replaced along with the side stop. The factory extractor was ditched and a new one was fit and tuned.
THEN I dehorned the pistol and refinished it; Enviro-Tech over Parkerizing. I'm sure I'm forgetting something... Funny how these little jobs seem to grow!

Hope you enjoy looking!
