For sure Colton is the Captain of the 1* pistols here at the shop. However, Ted still keeps a careful eye on what is going on. In this case he decided to build a "full house" 1* pistol for a very special customer and friend.

Hand checkering might be a thing of the past for some but Ted can still get busy and get it done. This is an extremely nice gun built on a NRM Colt. It should be the guy who is going to wear it is probably seen on the nicer Harley Davidson products in North America.

A class gun for a class guy. Hope you enjoy it as I expect you will. Congrats.

This shot shows the hand made African Blackwood stocks Theo does on occasion.

A little hand checkering never hurt a single gun.

Sometimes ordering off the menu pays off. At least it did in this case. 8)

WOW! I don’t know where to begin! Ted, thank you for all your work! And Steve thank you for your kind words and great pictures! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

For everyone else, a little history on this one. When I sent this gun to Ted, I told him I liked the 1* idea but maybe something a little different. He ask for a little leeway. I told him to take all the leeway he wanted. After all he’s the pro. The gun you see above is the result!

As you can imagine I couldn’t be happier!
