 Post subject: Not so custom BHP

One of my personal guns. Pretty basic. MKIII 9mm with Navidrex, King installed S&W sights, and mag safety removed. After viewing the SRT I may have to throw this one away!
I guess it will have to do until Don finishes my 40 with his Tactical package.

Thanks. I have always been fond of S&W K sights on 1911's and BHP's. I may have some frame stipling done but it has a great trigger (for a BHP) and seems to be very reliable with everything I have fed it. Still looking for a bargain on some Spegels.

gary*r&g, if your BHP shoots to point of aim I would be happy with it as I prefer simpler things. I like your BHP just the way it is. Regards, Richard :D

Its a Model 15 airman with 5 1/2"blade, and single finger groove black micarta grip.

Heres the info on the 15 from Randall

Model 15 "Airman" -- 5 ½" blade of 1/4" stock. Top cutting edge sharpened. 4 ½" Black Micarta handle. (Name etching, name plate, stainless steel blade, sawteeth, forward curved hilt and nickel silver hilt are available at additional charge.) Construction same as Model 14 except shorter blade. Comes with standard Black Micarta finger grip handle. (Green micarta handle material available upon request.) Single finger grip and Border Patrol shapes available at additional charge. Designed especially for air crew survival and combat purposes in cooperation with U.S. Marine Corps Equipment Board. (Wt. 10 oz.)
Price: $290 - (5 1/2")
