Well, I just picked up a Parkerized GI-45 5" that had exactly one box of White Box fired through it for the grand total of $425.00!! The guy bought it as his first ever semi-auto handgun and Hated it. Decided he is going back to wheel guns! His loss is my gain!!! I just happened to be shooting next to him at the range and he asked my oppinion of the SA and after a brief discussion he said "Make an offer." I told him I had $425.00 in my gun fund I was saving for a new gun and it was all I could part with right now and he said Sold!! Life is good, sometimes! I plan to have it turned into a high quality "homage" to the classic pre-70 series colts I grew up with! Best quality parts with a distinctly retro look!

That is pretty much what I want!! The feel of a full house custom with the looks of a pre 70 series model!!

I like it a lot. It reminds of my #2 Norinco that Marianne Carniak did for me. Plain, simple, and shoots like a dream. Regards, Richard :D
