I recently picked up a 70 series lightweight commander with the intent of sending it to your shop for a makeover. It's in great shape, looks to have been hardly fired at all. The only downside is, it has Millet sights installed and the front is a dual-crimp. I notice on your website it lists fixing dual crimp holes as a service you offer- was just wondering how much of a pain it is, and if the weld up will affect what I'm able to do with the slide. Really just looking to put in a dovetail front, YoBo rear and re-blue it. The majority of the modifications will be to the frame, which is in excellent shape.

Not a problem at all. You'll have to look hard to see the repair, and the dovetail front sight helps hide it.

Excellent. Thank you, Ted. I've got the LWC you worked on that I bought from Oldlawman here on the board, and I love it. It has become my daily plainclothes/off duty gun. I bought the second one because I got a good deal on it, and I want a backup in case this one ends up in the department evidence locker for 3 or 4 years. I appreciate the quick answer!
