Got a request from a client. Do any of you know of someone who works on the Walther PP, PPK or PPKS.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Jim Stroh in Ga used to do some neat work on PPK's.
AWP tunes them too.

I'll probably catch all kinds of grief from him for posting this, but Dave Berryhill did a custom PPK for me that turned out great! The action is the best I have ever felt on a PPK and the XS sights are a vast improvement over the factory sights. Here is a list of what he did:

-Install XS tritium sights.
-Action job
-Remove trigger serrations and polish trigger face
-Dehorn pistol, especially rear of slide that tend to bite the hand that shoots it.
-Serrate front strap (Not real functional, but it looks cool!)
-Bevel magwell
-Refinish

Dave doesn't advertise Walther work. Hell, he may not even ADMIT to doing Walther work, but he does it, and does a suberb job. It doesn't hurt to ask...the worst he can do is say no! Here are a couple of photos...

Terry:
Send it to the Q branch of Her Majesty's Secret Service, they worked on 007's PPK. :)

Sorry, couldn't resist it.

+1 re: Jim Stroh of Alpha Precision. I had him do some work on my Series 70 Government Model back in the 80s, and it's about to go back to him for more. Like the LTW 'smiths, in my experience he's a very precise and conscientious person to deal with.

And, he's one of the few I know that advertise their work on PPKs. :D

I wish I had known that Dave Berryhill worked on them, I got rid of both my PP and PPK, loved the guns except for the damn trigger pull :(

If this is an inappropriate place to post this, I apologize, but it seems to go with the thread. I have an old Walther PP in .32 that has one black plastic grip panel and one brown plastic grip panel!! It is just a knock-around shooter, but it is one of those things that drives me nuts!!!
Anybody have a set of stock grips sitting around they want to get rid of cheap? They don't have to be perfect....... just be a PAIR!! I don't care if they are black or brown.......... just a pair!!!
Thanks in advance,
Jeffro

I am pretty sure that Teddy is in semi-retirement due to health reasons.

I might have a matching set. I'll dig around the parts box.

In my days I probably did hundreds of them. I did actins, custom sight ribs with S&W j frame sites, finger grooves , left hand safeties. I even had a feature on this work in the 80s.Dave Berryhill is real good on them so give him a try. Austin
