I thought it was about time for this forum to have a good ol’ picture thread.

Here are a few of the nicer guns I’ve had the pleasure to fiddle with and photograph.

Absolutely beautiful pieces. I love the Pachmeyer "Combat Special". I have seen some really nice Pachmeyer work over the years, and yet many years ago I sent them a Colt 1911 for extensive work, and they ruined the gun with horrible craftsmanship. When I received the piece from them and called them, they said they would gladly address my concerns, but it would cost me the going rate for their shop time to do so!!!! Needless to say, I wasn't going to pay TWICE for them to screw it up........... ONCE was enough!!
That was probably over 25 years ago, and to this day, I won't even buy a set of Pachmeyer grips!! It came to mind because the catalyst for my sending the piece to them to begin with, was a "Combat Special" that looked amazingly like yours that was featured in a "Guns & Ammo" article about Pachmeyer and if memory serves, might have even been on the magazine cover. But yours looks beautiful.
It is really great of you to share your collection with us. It is really appreciated.
Best to you,
Jeffro (Jeff)

Jason,
I say this with all the love and admiration. Get off your ass and post these pictures appropriately. :P Tell Triple C and Eric to hit the soup kitchen if they are hungry. You have work to do.

Adeeos!

What you don’t like little red “X’s”? Damned evil imagestation. :x :x

As luck would have it our esteemed Mr. Downing and I just got off the phone and his words to me were that the photo server would be ready for my vast photographic talents  shortly. Don’t worry my friend I’ll be off my ass ASAP.

As for the “triple C” and Eric, both them fellas’ have already been “eighty-sixed” from all the local soup kitchens and I’m all they’ve got. But I guess it should come as no surprise considering the amount of food the “CCC” can put down in one sitting. Hell, that boy has a bumper sticker that reads “I brake for the 3 B’s... Barbeque, Banquet, and Buffet” :P :P

A gun collector, builder, and photographer..................with a sense of humor. Now, brave an Arizona summer and you will have all the respect in the world. Tell TC, and Eric, I will fire up the barbeque and throw some pops on ice if they agree to keeps their front feet off the valuables. :P

Not much here but don't want anyone fondling my custom engraved Marilyn Monroe Jennings. 8)

Whatever. Seriously, nice photos. Great work on some of those pistolas. The Nastoff gun looks great, lots of checkering, but looks fantastic. I'm still enjoy looking at Armand Swenson's work. Sure give you an idea of who started some of the great guns. Thanks again.

Now young man, back to work. :P

WOW!, I still, get goosebumps looking at these pics. I was cruising through some old threads getting ideas for Ted and the boys to do to my 1962 Goverment and came across these pics. Thought I'd bump it to the top, as some new members may not have had the opportunity to see these. Jason, I think I'm jealous and envious not only for the guns but the photography, (Steve must have given you some pointers). You've seen my photo skills.... 'nuff said! You should be very proud of the collection you've aquired. Take care.
