Patience? Please! I have forgotten there even was a wait time.

No problem, one collect call to Michigan on Tuesday is already on my to-do list.

LOVE it!

A real classic, done undoubtedly Ned style.

No blasphemy here, those conamyds look great on the old Colt, and ya know how I feel about Colts.

Thanks for the inspiration today!!!

Hi Ned

I think I have been anticipating the arrival of Steve's blaster as much as he has, and it's not my money. :)

I didn't realize that you could do such a natural looking 1911. LOL In this case, less is more and it is a fine looking pistol to be sure and I am sure will improve Steve's shooting. (Sorry Steve I had to get in one little slam. :) Actually he shoot fine.

I am impressed with the rear sight treatment and will check it out up close.

Congratulations to you both. Owning a finely excuted Colt is a priviledge few can experience.

be safe irv

Well, we've already determined that Steve can shoot a better group than I. I've been suspecting for a couple years that 1 1/4 at 25 yards is the limit of my eyes, even if the gun can do one hole at 50. I mean, some days I can break 1 1/4 but not very often. So Steve leaves a message talking about quarter-sized groups, we talk and I ask him if it's at 10 or 15 yards, he sez 25! I could not break 1 1/4 with this gun.

Hi Ned

He has had really good training and accuracy (one hole group accuracy) is not that important to us. We are not concerned with MOA but MOF (minute of felon).

I have watched his shooting improve over the past few years and he is worthy of your pistol. :) I am sure he will enjoy it for many years. BTW I still have the very first really good 1911 I ever bought and it was built by Bob Chow in the late 60s. It isn't much to look at today compared to where you guys have raised the bar but it still functions fine. I am sure Steve will feel the same way about his new blaster.

Great job as usual!

be safe irv
