Has anybody seen--or better yet tried--this extractor? It looks like a neat part and Dave is known to make good stuff.

Any feedback?

Thanks!

I just put one in for a guy. Looks like a quality piece, I'm not totally sold on the need for it but I dont' see any downside to it.

You do have to relieve the barrel for it.

I agree, what I've seen of D&L stuff has been good. Saw a cool, extra lightweight, dehorned AR15..... liked it.

As Ned said, it looks good. Necessary? Well I'd have to be convinced.

Dave Lauck does indeed have some solid ideas, and does very nice work.

One benefit to the design is that it may be more "forgiving". We see a lot of guns in the marketplace put together by... well, the "uninitiated". Under the guise of being scientific, developmental, cutting edge ninja types, they play around with magazines, ammunition, and the guns themselves. In the case of an improperly set up gun/magazine/ammunition/shooter interface, an item like this could likely make a noticeable difference.

Seems like a solution for lack of training. Anyone have a picture of it? I would love to see how simple it is. I was skeptical of the AFTEC until I saw how simple and reliable it is and am very happy with it.
