I have an inquiry from a gentleman about an older custom. Appears to be an older competition or bullseye gun. It has a ribbed "revolver" sight on it and a rail attached to the lower dust cover for weights. Has anyone heard about this person and anything about a pistol that appears to be able to take weights? I have pics from the customer that I will post. Here is the information he sent.
"Hello,
I have been trying to find some info on a Pre GC NM that has come my way. It appears to have a dovetailed rib on top of the slide marked Eliason, and also has an extension on the bottom that appears to be for added weights, this part is marked J. W. Davis.
It appears to be in excellent shape mechanically, with normal cosmetic wear on the bluing for a gun this age.
Could you offer any help as to where to look for more info?"

Jess

I "think" that he is an older gent from Mississippi that builds that type of gun. I recall seeing him at some of the larger gun shows in the area several years ago. Haven't been lately due to my military commitments, so I don't knoe if he's still around or not.
