Hi guys,

I have a .380 KBI Walther PPK knock off that has a set of Ashley express small dot night sights.

Would it be possible to use these sights on a 1911? I know it wouldn't work on a regular set of sights but not sure about the Ashley.

Particularly I was thinking of using the front sight with a modified Novaks rear like the way Chuck does - Any chance this would work?

I wouldn't recommend it. The dovetail cut we use for PPK and similar sized firearms is a .250X60 degree X.050" deep cut. It is tiny. Just give us a call and order a .330X65. It will work better, and you won't have to jerk the front sight off of your pistol.
