I was recently invited to join the forum by Ned, and have been looking around for a few weeks. I have seen acouple of pistols that are listed have having an Ion Bond metal finish. What can you tell me about the finish and the process. What advantages does it have over the ceramic finishes I'm currently using?

Hopefully I can make some valuable contributions in the future.

Here are some links to other threads that will have some info to help you.

Here is some info on Dimaond Black, which may be close to the same thing.

I'm getting ready to go to work, but when I get back, I'll look and see, I think that I have some more links on this finish because I have been checking on it myself. When the blue is all gone on my custom Warrior, which won't take long, it will be wearing Black Diamond! 8)
