A customer asked me to build him a 9mm on a Baer frame and slide. He supplied the parts including a 6" Nowlin barrel. After we determined the options to be done, he asked if I could cut and thread the barrel to accept a suppressor. Though it isn't as neat as Ned's internal thread cap, this one I made was a one of a kind setup as I made it out of a piece of stainless barrel end off a Wilson AR barrel.

The pistol speaks for itself and sports a Melonite finish done by Drakes Gun Works. By the way, if you haven't had a chance to drop Drake a line or call, you should if you have interest in Melonite. He has a quick turn around and my lord, he does a great job!

Once again Bob.... Nice. VERY nice! Great stuff, and a super-clean build.

Beautiful pistol and I can vouch for Drake's work. My Kahr turned out awesome and the Melonite finish looks outstanding!

Nice work, as usual!

That sure did turn out nice. I really like what you did with the thread protector. I'm looking forward to seeing your next project.

The thread protector is a very good look. The only problem I foresee is that the owner won't get much shooting done as he'll be busy answering questions from other shooters about the work done on the gun. :D
