Here's one I just finished up for a gentleman WAY out west. He wanted a Bar-Sto barrel fitted, and this was done, along with 20 LPI frontstrap checkering to go with the mainspring housing that he supplied, Yost rear sight with fiber optic front, serrated slide rib, CMC beavertail, Brown wide thumb safety, de-horn, flattened and bevelled slide stop, the frame was re-anodized and the rest of the gun less the trigger and barrel assy. was done in Ionbond DLC. We finished up with a set of VZ thin Gator Back grips.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Elmer, they're pretty durable depending on how the're installed. I like to make sure the bottom of the fiber optic rod is supported in a "trough" in the sight blade. The only way you could conceivably break it should be a hit from the side. Fortunately, the're easy to replace if the need arises.
