I bought this Pathfinder from a friend and forum member. I didnt care for the spur hammer and the safety disengaged a little too easy for me. I sent it to Don and asked him to address those concerns and put some night sights on it. Since it sported BHP Novaks I was afraid the options were limited but Don reprofiled a YoBo rear. The C&S hammer is more to my liking and the safety now engages and dis-engages perfectly. He also cleaned up some dings in the slide serrations. Dont pay any attention to the finish as it is headed to be hard chromed in the near future.

What a dream! I particularly like the reshaped rear sight!
Enjoy it!

Gary, is the grip long enough that you can get all your fingers on it? How many rounds do the mags hold?

WOW, whoever was foolish enough to let loose of that must be really whacking themselves on the head after seeing those enhancements! 8)
I am with you, the C&S hammer makes a huge difference in the appearance.
Have you shot it yet?
So when and where will you get the hard chrome done? While I have always liked the look of mirror polished flats I imagine retaining the look on a pistol that is actually used would be hard.
It is looking good, I would enjoy seeing it when you have it complete!
Thanks for sharing!!
:)

The grip with a mag inserted allows me to get all 3 fingers on the grip. The mag holds 10 rounds. They are pretty easy to make from factory 10 round mags. Just remove the plastic base plate, cut a small section out and glue back together. I made up several for spares.

I havent decided if I want to matte blue, two tone, hard chrome or diamond coat it. I like the blue but since it is a daily carry piece the durability of HC or boron carbide would be nice.

Headed to the range this afternoon. Don said it shot good. It shot good before Don tuned it. With trigger job from Don it should be real nice.

Gary, love the gun. A more detailed photo essay would be nice if you have time. Do you plan to post pics on your site?
