Below are pictures of a Commander sized pistol that I just completed for a client. It's his third pistol from me and was requested to be a companion piece for a Gov't Model sized 10mm. It's got all the good stuff for a carry piece like Yost sights -w- tritium lamps, Scallops on the grip frame, CMC beavertail -w- Brown ambi safety, finished in IonBond DLC -w- polished flats. I hope he enjoys it for many years to come!

Thank you Sir!
I did make the grips, they are made from Desert Ironwood.

Very nice John very nice indeed. That gave me a couple of things to ponder for our next discussion. Is that the 10-8 Vickers trigger?

Thanks! I look forward to it. :D

The trigger is one that I'm having made combining some features available on various commercially available triggers into one that brings all the best features together.

It features a solid aluminum shoe and a stainless steel stirrup with the locked rear entry stop screw popularized by Vickers and Yam, plus a smooth face and a short length. Nothing that breaks any bench marks, but it combines all the features that make sense to me.

It's available in either natural aluminum or matte black. Heck it's even available with serrations, if you'd rather.

This is a weapon I would carry down an alley in Bangkok at 3am and feel comfortable with but I am retired from such nonsense. And it is also a beautiful weapon.

Tell the truth. pardner.
Delectable droolable John Harrison sidearm or no,...
You miss "it" like an alky misses his MD 20/20, a junky misses his Helen or a tweaker his ice; and if you could go back to the meanest, lowest most miserable time you can think of, you would do it in a hot New York minute.
Well let me tell you, brother,.............
.....Me too.

Thanks for all the kind words!

The H-D triggers will be available from Brownells in the very near future and from my web site, as soon as I upgrade it! They'll be available in long & short with each in natural silver, or black IonBond DLC.
