I've posted photos of some of my other HiPowers before, but I thought I would share the latest addition to my collection. At the 2007 SHOT show, Ted and I were walking the floor and found an interesting HiPower at the Cylinder and Slide booth. I thought it was a little odd looking until I picked it up and discovered it was LIGHT. The frame is aluminum. To quote Theo...."You need to have that". And my immediate response was... "Will you work on it?"

So it was shipped off to Ted shortly thereafter for a little massage and makeover at the Heirloom Precision styling salon.

Thanks Ted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful trio there. You're a lucky man - I can't find a single local dealer here in northern VA carrying Hi-powers.

aloha

I saw those also - and fortunately there was no one to prod me. I even spoke will Bill Laughridge about making one into a Pathfinder (there was some reason not to shorten the frame, I don't remember what it was). Anyway - your set is beautiful, but don't you need a GP now?

Richard

Congrats! Ted does fantastic work on P35s. What is your preservation plan? It seems like you have plenty of hipowers to shoot, and now a very classy and light one to carry. Has the newest seen any range time? How different is the perceived recoil, return to target, etc?

Too cool. Did you have to get one of the C&S packages in order to buy the gun? At SHOT they said they would not sell just the gun. I have to get one and give it Ted with a big stack of dough to give it the super sized full meal deal treatment.
