I just got my hands on a Ted Yost BHP (40cal)it a SRT ,but it's nothing special looks like any other Yost custom beautiful. What does the "SRT" mean?

That is a beautiful Browning and a good question. I did a lot of internet searching and could not find the answer. I always thought it was for Special Response Team but, it may be something to do with the word Signature.

Glad you like the SRT.

The "package" as it now exists is an evolution that started with a good friend's idea of the perfect Hi-Power. There have been a couple of changes over the years, but the main theme is intact.

A Police Chief of a midwestern city, this fine gentleman uses the call sign SRT (his username here, as well). It's in tribute to his service and his involvement in helping set the standards we all work to that I named "his" package after him.

Maybe he'll chime in and add a bit...

Thanks for clearing that up ,maybe you will see this gun again for a rebuild as i intend to ring it out ,no safe queen's for me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hummm hard chrome don't know will see.
