This little blaster saw a rough life as a Policia sidearm in Buenos Aires. The owner wanted to give it a new lease on life and here's how it turned out. There are a few scars left from it's previous life and I thought they should remain.
All the sharp corners were beveled.
It's wearing Navidrex grips and manganese phosphate Parkerizing.
The rear sight is a Novak for a Colt .380 to avoid interference with the internal extractor. (Thanks for the tip, Don!)
Dovetailed front night sight shaped from blank
Cylinder & Slide thumb safety & original rowel hammer reshaped to a bobbed spur configuration and cut for no-bite.
Stippled front strap
