Gents - The auction for the Alessi tribute gun begins now. The auction will be held from noon 04 November 2011 to noon 06 November 2011 Arizona time. Here’s how the auction will work:

- To place a bid send me a PM on the LTW forum. Please be sure to send your bid via this manner as it will make keeping track of the bids that much easier and keeps bidders identities confidential.

- I will acknowledge your bid with a returned PM via the LTW forum.

- As the bids come in I will update this thread with the current high bid.

- Bidding will start at $3000.

- The auction will close at noon Arizona time on 06 November 2011. At that time I will PM the three highest bidders with the current high bid in order to give those bidders a final chance to increase their bid. After that the gun will go to the highest bid.

- Payment and shipping details will be coordinated through Heirloom Precision.

I believe it sold for 11,500. Pretty nice amount. I was figuring it would go for around 9k.

Gents, sorry for the delay on this.

This LTW collaboration was even more successful than we anticipated. The bidding went well... very well... and at the end one very generous bidder delivered a check for $15000!!!

Once again all proceeds went to the Alessi family and it was our true pleasure to be able to honor our friend Lou.

One more big thanks goes out to all those who bid and as well as to all of the LTW supporters. We couldn’t do this without you guys. :D
