Mr. Bunczk had written reviews by Walt Rauch in Combat Handguns magazine. I still remember the sweet looking S&W 586 4" revolver that he did some work on for one article. It had some interesting custom features and it seemed that Bunczk was an accomplished smith. I believe he unfortunately fell under some serious illness. Does anyone know if he's still in the business?

Eric, I haven't heard, but I know Walt Rauch used to have his test guns shipped through Phoenix Armory, and no longer does. This kind of leads me to believe that it's closed. Too bad, as it's been around a long time.

Thanks for the update Don, I hope Bunczk's alright. By the way, the SA loaded pkg fullsize you "warmed" over for me is continuing to shoot fine.
