hi guys, newbie here.. im planning getting a build done one day. preferably by NED. (not to far from me in MI ).

basically im just piecing together options on what internals,externals ect. that i want. im intrigued by the caspian titanium framed guns. i havent heard to much about them though. as far as shootability, carry, ect. how it wears with a carbon or stainless slide. ect.

any info would be great. thanks guys.

Plenty of info on this titanium 9mm commander. I have over 2500 rounds through it and loving it very much. Titanium likes to be lubed, a lot, if it's dry it won't run. As for running it in lady's caliber (9mm), the secrets are 14 lb recoil spring and Metalform "front ramp" or "Springfield" magazines with extra power Wolff magazine spring. It will run on any factory 9mm cartridge.

after reading about how "tough" it was to deal with the frame ned might not want to do it . :)

with a machinist background i knew it was hard to cut, but didnt realize the issues with certain mods.

Don't be discouraged, John didn't mind taking on another titanium project after he perfected his ti. working technique on mine. He's even "scalloped" the front strap on a titanium. Ted Yost has built several titanium also. I'm sure Ned will be up to the task.
