I was browsing through brownells and noticed a dwyer group gripper. Does anyone have experiences with this thing. Does it improve accuracy at the expense of reliablity? Is it easy to install?

Thanks,

Mike

I tried one on a 70's commbat commander and really didn't see any improvement. It also made the lockup feel extra hard. :(

I would say it’s one of those items that work in theory and not in application.

Many moons ago, before I understood better, I briefly shot with one in gun only to learn that improving a guns accuracy really does have to be done the time proven old fashioned way. A good, repeatable barrel lock-up and a nice barrel crown combined with a useable trigger, while more expensive, is money much better spent.

There just aren’t any short-cuts to an accurate gun.
