I also saw this pistol at the Shot show, I gotta say it was a work of art, the words escape me to describe how neat it is, but the pictures do a pretty good job. On a side note Stan is also a hell of a nice guy.

Many, many thanks for the kind words...it means more than ya know, especially coming from peers and connosieurs! It's a real honor and pleasure to be among such a great group that we have here at LTW.

It was great to meet so many of you at SHOT, I hope to meet many more next year.

It's amazing what you can find in a podunk town of 14,000 in the Middle of Nowhere, Rocky Mtns., USA. Chris Marona is an extremely talented photographer, who could probably photograph a Ruger P85 and make you lust after it. He's really more known for fantastic Western ranching illustration, so I was thrilled that he agreed to shoot my pistol. I wish I had a camera to take a picture of these pictures being taken, it was quite an array of umbrellas, lights, boxes, stands, strobes and ....stuff.

Hoser, that's a New Rollmark Colt 38 Super, current production. And Hogue Kingwood grips.

Thanks again! 8)

Hoser, the only .38Super from Colt on the approved list is the #02070E Government in stainless and it falls off the list on 4/30... :(

I'm still lusting for a .38 Super, but it looks like I'll have to find a used one for sale somewhere first. Can't even buy a frame to build the sucker...

When I saaw the first publicly posted image of one of your guns, I knew your place amongst the best was written. I am so happy that the craft of 1911 building is flourishing because of LTW's artists. Chuck said it years ago, "Stan is the man!"
