George, welcome. I think the Rock River Arms 1911's are some of the best going, from what I've seen.

Thanks for the welcome Ned! I just seen some posts where Rock River is suspending production of thier 1911 model pistols till further notice as of sept. 17th.It was posted on thier website.With the economic situation it makes me wonder,I hope all goes well for them for the truly have a quality product.I understand they will be filling all backorders ect.
